We are looking for a Human Resource Coordinator and a Recruiting and Employee Relations Manager to work for a top company in Quincy, MA. Human Resources Coordinator: Assist HR Manager with administration and preparing roll out for HR initiatives such as: o Performance Management o Bonus program o Merit Increases o Trainings o Internship Program &61607 GP with any employee changes on a weekly basis for benefits, new hires, LOAs and terminations &61607 Produce weekly and as needed reports for HR Manager, IT and Payroll for all changes/adds, new hires, LOAs, and termed employees &61607 Notify Benefit Broker of any changes, adds or terminations from benefit plans &61607 Administer employee resignations and terminations &61607 Track COBRA on a monthly basis and send list to Office Manager and payroll &61607 Coordinate all Leaves of Absence: workers compensation, FMLA, Military, Disability and all others serves as point of contact with appropriate insurance carrier, keeps track of status, resolves issues and inform HR Manager on a weekly basis and EEs manager as needed &61607 Conduct recruitment efforts for all exempt and non-exempt personnel, students, and temporary employees: o Source, screen and interview qualified candidates for open positions o Serve as point person for open positions keeps HR Manager d on status o Compile and ensure all open and closed job requisitions are approved and kept on file notify hiring manager when requisition is approved o Keep track of all job descriptions for all positions and make sure they are accurate and up to date o Maintain applicant tracking in excel o Organize resumes for all candidates o Administer pre-employment screenings/background checks o Conduct reference checks &61607 Send out offer packets and enter new hire information into GP &61607 Administration of all new hire paperwork and conduct new-employee orientations &61607 I-9 form maintenance &61607 File EEO-1 report annually maintain other records, reports, and logs pertaining to employment compliance and regulations &61607 Ensure all sites have d Federal and State regulation posters posted at each site &61607 Keep employee personnel files up to date and scan pertinent files as requested &61607 Filing as needed &61607 Perform other related duties as required and assigned EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE &61607 A bachelors degree in Human Resources, or related field and at least 3 years experience in the HR field &61607 Requires prior knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resources &61607 Prior experience with an HRIS database preferred &61607 Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping &61607 Requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills &61607 Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality COMPETENCIES • Excellent analytical and organizational skills (Attention to detail a must) • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Excel focused) • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume environment. • Critical ability to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive information. • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a highly charged, continually changing environment Recruiting and Employee Relations Manager: This role is a blend of recruiting and human resources responsibilities, and the ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, energy, and enthusiasm. Recruiting responsibilities include filling open positions, proactive pipeline building for future roles as well as project work to streamline and upgrade recruiting processes. An additional focus of this role is project work within HR functional areas of training, organizational development and employee relations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES RECRUITING • Manages recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, interns, and temporary employees • Meets with Hiring Managers to determine job description, expectations and recruiting strategy • Develops Internship program and establishes a pipeline of ed colleges • Reviews resumes and performs telephone interviews and background checks • Develops sourcing methods using social media and other creative methods to build and sustain a Talent pool for the organization • Refines staffing process, candidate tracking and reporting • Conducts new-employee orientations EMPLOYEE RELATIONS • Serves as HR point of contact and Business Partner for the organization • Provides Employee relations counseling • Partner with management to create a positive working environment where employees feel valued, respected and empowered to perform at their best • Consult with employees and managers on employee relations issues to ensure that all parties are aware of both company policies and labor laws • Monitor employee moral through individual relationships • Provides Outplacement counseling and exit interviewing along with processing all terminations (to include collection of exit interviews, equipment, final paycheck, etc.) • Analyze data (e.g. exit interview feedback), identify trends and recommend solutions to improve employee satisfaction, performance and retention • Partners with others in HR to develop, rollout and track programs and processes i.e. Performance Management, Career Path, Recognition Program • Creates and defines job descriptions • In depth knowledge of labor laws, equal employment and affirmative action programs and regulations, ADA, FMLA, FSLA, etc. • Manages Immigration and VISA process • Develops and maintains Corporate and HR procedures, policies, employee files, Employee Handbook and other HR related materials • Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures • Develops and maintains affirmative action program files EEO-1 annually maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations • Assists in developing and delivering Employee Training programs • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned • Develop and deliver training sessions as needed EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE • A bachelors degree and seven (7) years Human Resources experience • Demonstrated experience with high volume recruiting and HR generalist experience • A masters degree highly preferred • Any appropriate combination of education and experience • Excellent organizational, customer service skills and written and verbal communication skills, intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel and/or Access, intermediate Internet skills for both the Web and Email • Working knowledge of Federal and State laws relating to the ADA, FMLA, and workers compensation • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) required • Must be able to do presentations before groups of 10-15 people • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to excellent customer service Please email your resume to for consideration or fax your resumes to 617-773-3603 Location: Quincy, MA Compensation: pay rate based on experience
