Description: Position: Project Manager Construction HVAC and plumbing projects Salary: 85k-95k, bonuses and benefits (Relocation if required) Environment: Dynamic and all local projects You are an experienced Project Manager or Superintendent with large commercial experience on HVAC and Plumbing projects. You are looking for a good solid company to work for and grow. Working on designs, managing contractors, working with clients, staying within budgets and delivering on time is what you enjoy. The main goal for you is to deliver a quality solution for the clients and build solid relationships. You will be managing multiple projects in piping, plumbing and HVAC. You will be responsible for Estimating and budgeting Written proposals Planning and scheduling Manage material, equipment, tools, information, and subcontractors on each job Material, equipment and subcontractor procurement Start up, commissioning and owner training Supervision of field crews Safety awareness, training, promotion Warranty administration Design coordination (drawings, RFIs, submittals, etc.) Communications with general contractors, architects, engineers, and owners Budgeting The client is a well established construction company who has been in business for over 60 years plus. They are looking for quality to people to bring into the family. Required: Experience Project Managing or superintendent on large commercial HVAC and plumbing projects A degree in Mechanical or Industrial engineering or a HS diploma with at least 5 years of construction experience or construction vocation training. Six years related project experience, or twelve years or more practical experience on similar projects. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and web browser applications Knowledge of engineering theories and methodologies Knowledge of project approach and system design Basic accounting knowledge and how to create and maintain budgets Commercial experience in construction Preferred: Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent education or experience. Co-op or intern experience in this field. Minimum of 7 years of experience managing mechanical work, general contractor PM, or superintendent.
